Gateway to the future
IMTS 2010 is in the history books and was a “Smashing” success, a phrase stolen from our English colleagues. This year’s exhibition was the eighth largest IMTS ever, with over 82,000 attendees, and over 1,137,375 sq. ft of booth space. Horn USA registered the highest ever number of leads and contacts during the week.
As also stated in our catch phrase “Gateway to the future” based on the large Gateways that adorned the center of Horn USA’s booth, this version of IMTS was also Horn USA’s gateway to our presence in marketplace for the future. No longer were the majority of contacts unfamiliar with Horn or our products, the majority of contacts were aware of Horn and they had a mission to “find a solution to their manufacturing problem”. They were pleased to find their solutions, plus many new products of which they were not aware. Of course, this generated many more conversations….
Gemütlichkeit (comfort) was all around in the booth. Visitors were able to relax and discuss their projects with the knowledgeable staff and enjoy some German Pizza (Flammkuchen), Schwäbisch Pretzels, and some simple beverages. Videos were seen from all areas to spark ideas and conversations.
We will reminisce about IMTS 2010 in the future, and our customers will enjoy the cost saving solutions we provided. Thank you to all our customers and colleagues as it would not be a success without you.
